After writing television scripts for many years, I started to publish my own novels mostly via Kindle Direct Publishing. After my debut novel didn't do so well, I changed my strategy and brought out a "chick lit science fiction blog novel" under the pseudonym Vanessa Mansini, which was a big success in Germany: "Nicht von dieser Welt" (Out of this world) kicked Dan Brown's "Inferno" from the no. 1 spot of the kindle charts Germany. More than 30.000 ebooks were sold. In 2014 I won the Indie-Author-Award of the Bookfair Leipzig for my selfpublishing work with this novel.
End of 2013 I also started a new project with Vanessa Mansini, called "Im falschen Film" (Inside the wrong movie). It started as an ebook-series. It now consists of three books with 400 pages each exist. All together they sold more than 60.000 copies in Germany.
