I was born and raised in the south of Italy, then I moved to Siena first and Bologna then, to finish my studies in languages and literatures and now I live in that beautiful, multicultural city. My experience as a translator comes from the need to write and read. I love both of them. My university gave me the upperhand on those subjects and I was well trained in translation just as I am enthusiastic over it. During my studies I've translated to and from english, german and french, particularly in the first.
I love to relate myself with fellow authors and I know what is like to be an author. I shan't indulge on criticisms that feed my ego during my work, I will always respect a book when I translate it, always giving the feel the author want it to trasmite in the target language. My tastes, my likes are not a concern of my work, that must be delivered with precision and professionality.
