I am an Italian freelance translator and language teacher based in Spain.
Translating is for me a passion, as well as a vocation. I first obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages and Cultures, then a Master's Degree in Advanced Translation, and in both cases I graduated cum laude.
I also took part in an international exchange program with the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I taught Italian to a class of American students and took translation courses.
As part of my studies, I collaborated to the translation of the theatre play for children Le destin de Célestin, and translated the children’s book Fille de la tempête : La légende de la ville d'Is into Italian for my Master’s thesis.
Even though I am mainly interested in translating literary texts from English and French into Italian, I am also open to all the opportunities the world of translation has to offer.

Author review: I worked with Martina on the translation of my novel Peeling Oranges into Italian. The quality of her translated work is excellent, sticking close to the original text. She is prompt and thorough in delivery, is easy to communicate with and is enthusiastic and diligent in the promotion of the work. I highly recommend her. |
