Italian native speaker with a BA degree in Foreign Languages and Cultures and a Postgraduate Diploma in Principles and Practice of Translation. I have been living in the United Kingdom since 2010 where I have mainly worked in administrative roles while cultivating my passion for foreign laanguages and translations. I have also recently qualified as a TEFL teacher.
My degree dissertation consisted of the translation into Italian and the analysis of linguistic challenges of a selection of poems from The Little Book of Judas by Brendan Kennelly, a contemporary Irish author who was unpublished in Italy since then. My work was eventually published. In 2012 I enrolled into an online postgraduate diploma course delivered by City University London which revolved around translation theory and practice of different kinds of texts. I am mostly experienced with the translation of literary text and news articles. I have been living in the UK since 2010, meaning I have an in-depth knowledge of British culture and of the English lanaguage in its varieties.
My hobbies include travelling, practising yoga, reading fiction and cooking.
