2015 brought a series of changes to my life, including moving to Japan and quitting my regular office job in Germany to become a full time freelance translator, proofreader and writer.
I am an avid reader and think it is a great idea to provide a platform, that makes it easier for authors and translators to connect. Though the market for English books in Germany is constantly growing, for many people it has a different appeal to read in their own langugae.
I am still on my way to establish myself as a serious and reliable translator and proofreader. but this is not the only reason that I want to help you, dear authors, to make your book a success in German(y). Nowadays it is fairly easy to selfpublish a book in your own country, and just as easy in another. Unfortunately most authors do not have the money to professionally proofread or translate their work and many otherwise good books are getting bad reviews because of mistakes rather than because of the content.
If you wrote a great book, I want to make sure, that it is just as great in German.
