Marie Havard was born in Beziers (France) in 1983 and she now lives near Montpellier, in South of France.
She loves travelling and she spent a year abroad as an erasmus student at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Her trips to foreign countries are inspirational for her books (USA, Japan, Canada, New Zealand...).
Writing has become a part of her life since she was young, thanks to a friend of her parents who was a poet.
In 2005 we graduated in Modern French Litterature. She started to write her first novel, inspired by her experience in Scotland, and five years later, the book "Les Voyageurs Parfaits" is finished. She self-publishes it.
She then works on a sensitive subject (child loss), she lives herself the tragedy her character is living in the book. Writing this new book is then all the more important for her, and she self-publishes "Les Larmes du Lac" in 2015.
