My name is Maria Rescigno but I do prefer to be called Marika, since I've always been called that! I graduated University in 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Sciences and International Relations and right now I'm studying to get my Master's Degree in International Relations. I learnt languages in a specialised high school and also at Uni and to this day I speak english, german and french fluently besides my mothertongue, italian.I love reading and being able to let other people know the magic of a well-written story is truly amazing. I've always been a fan of literary sagas and series, and sometimes I translated fanfictions in different fandoms from english to italian, although I consider my time as an anime translator to be the most important one in this field. Translating is one of my great passions and I'm happy to have the chance to do it for an author and a storyteller. I've been translating for Babelcube for a few years now but I did have to go on a little bit of a hiatus to focus on my studies and now that I'm back I'm looking forward to enjoying incredible stories and making sure other people can enjoy them too - in their language!
