My name is María Elena Navarro (known as Nuny De Welchez) and I have been a bilingual teacher for almost 27 years in Honduras, a Central American country. It has been a wonderful journey and my life has been filled with many, many adventures. I have been happily married for 30 years and have had the priviledge to be a mom of 3 gorgeous young men. My oldest son has been my companion and guardian for 29 years. He is a "special kid" whose dissabilities had been a treasure for our family and who ever gets to know him. My second son (27 years old) is filled with gifts and talents. As a graphic designer, he fills our path with colors and creativity. As a worshiper and extraordinary singer, fills the air with musical hope. My baby (24 years old) is not a baby at all. He has worked his way through university and is about to graduate and receive a degree on Finances and Business Administration. He is an engine of enthusiam and really takes care of us. I am blessed!
I am so grateful with God for giving me the opportunity to learn English because that has opened many doors for me. I am not teaching anymore. I am taking care of my husband and at the same time looking forward, not only for hope and faith, but for a rebirth in many areas of my life, even professionally. He is the one who is pushing me into what has been a dream for me, translating books. I already had the experience of doing so many years ago when we were, as Christians, ministering in an orphanage. But they did not publish it. They just made copies for everyone. But I loved it! Now, I have worked with Christian authors and have enjoyed the journey being blessed with every word. I have also been an online interpreter for USA. God is good all the time!!
I will really love to see my name as a translator in your books. And maybe later as an author. Please, give me the opportunity to do so.
Blessings!!

Author review: Maria did a wonderful job on this translation. She is a hard worker, is very precise and is passionate about what she does. She uses "Nuny de Welchez" as a professional name, and will be identified in that way in the final product. |
