My name is Marco, I'm 29 years old. I graduated in Journalism, but currently I work in translation for "Instituto de Salud Carlos III" (a health research institute in Madrid). I speak Spanish, English, French, German and Lithuanian, althought I've studied many other languages that I've been interested in (such as Italian, Portuguese, Japanese or Bulgarian).
In my job I usually deal with technical documents, professionals guides and health information spreadsheets, but I'm also into literary translation.
I run a blog in which I usually speak about languages and translation (see my webpage) among other topics.
I love translating poetry, songs, things that had to rhyme, challenges like palindromes, puns and multilingual situations.
Some of my favourite authors are Mary Shelley, Jorge Luis Borges, Isaac Asimov, Ursula K. LeGuin, Chuck Palahniuk, Matthew Stokoe and Rebeca Roanhorse.
Oh! I forgot, I'm totally into conlangs. My faourite one is Toki Pona!
