I am a dedicated translator with a diverse portfolio that includes translating several noteworthy books and written texts. My translation experience spans a variety of genres and formats, demonstrating my versatility and attention to detail. I have translated the haiku collection of Nenad Ostojić, as well as the book "Energy Poverty in South East Europe: Surviving the Cold" for Caritas Zagrebačke Nadbiskupije. Additionally, I translated Joel McIver’s book "Justice for All: The Truth about Metallica" and worked on the scientific article "Textual Tasks in Mathematics Students’ Books for Class-Teaching."
My background also includes translating and proofreading subtitles for major Croatian television projects and international film festivals. Notable projects include the translation of film scripts like "The Wolf, the Fox, and the Leopard" by David Verbeek, and various subtitles for HRT, Croatia’s national television. I have contributed to the translation of subtitles for the Berlin Film Festival and various training and seminar materials, further showcasing my adaptability and range.
With a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature and in Phonetics, my academic foundation complements my practical experience. My goal is to bridge language barriers and ensure that every translation maintains the original's integrity and cultural resonance. I look forward to bringing my skills and passion for translation to new and exciting projects.
