Hello! My name's Luiza and I'm an English to Portuguese translator. I've translated a number of websites and movies/TV series and now I'm also translating books. I was alphabetized in English simultaneously with Portuguese, that is, from an early age. I have a B.A. in Literature and Languages from Universidade de São Paulo and more recently earned my Masters degree in Critical Theory in New York last year - those who are familiar with Theodor Adorno and Walter Benjamin's theories know that they are very interested in translation as a theme as well. I am very interested in languages and its nuances, which I consider vital for a translator. I'm always looking for the perfect word to express what I mean to write or to say and this endeavor, I believe, makes me an exceptional professional.
