A lover of great stories, passionate about working with them.

Both a writer and a translator, when I am committed to a piece of work, I will see to it that it comes out at its best.

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I now currently reside. I was educated in both Portuguese and English, and my studies took me to London, where I completed an MA at Queen Mary University of London on Writing in the Modern Age.

I studied translation during my BA, as well as Portuguese and English Literature. I have also studied cinema, written and directed a short film, but that's a whole other story.

I have been working full time as a translator for over two years now, having worked for publishing houses in Brazil and for an American translation company.

I have been lucky enough to work with the genre I love, Young Adult Fiction, and my first important work in this area was proofreading the translation of Damian Dibben's second book of the series "The History Keepers". I'm always excited to work with YA fiction, but I'm also a big fan of historical novels and just plain, imaginative, awesome stories.
