I am Brazilian, so Portuguese (Br) is my mother tongue. I live in Braga (PT) and, due to family roots, I'm also a Portuguese citizen. I can say I am an enthusiastic, competent and responsible translator. Although I have worked as an English Teacher for over 10 years now, I have got involved in translation studies at the University as a way of qualifying myself for various freelance translation jobs. I have always shown a great interest in subtitling and I am familiar with the application Subtitle Workshop. I have a Bachelor degree in Law and I'm currently enrolled in a B.A. program in Letters - Portuguese/English and a distance learning 15-month course on Translation at Brasillis. I have sat the ILEC, YLE, FCE, CAE and CPE Cambridge examination, which is set at Level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference.
