Lourdes Vanessa Berthoud graduated in Professional Translation at University (Unesp-Brazil) in 1997. Graduated at Language and Literature Teaching in 2005. Graduated in Pedagogy in 2012 and History in 2015. She is a specialist postgraduated at Education. She works as a teacher (English, Spanish and Portuguese) and as a translator in technical and literary area in Brazil.

When I was very young,  I chose to be a professional translator because I loved this work and I chose to be a teacher because I wanted to help people in their daily life. Maturity showed me that translation can also help people not only near me but all around the world, it may expand minds by spreading different emotions, knowledge, adventure, exciting fear, suspense, catarse, relaxing, fun, positive thinking, spirituality, healthy habits and so on. That is why I am here!
