Lineth blanco

My name is Lineth and I was born in Venezuela. I used to live with my parents and go to college as any avarage teenager or young adult. However, things got complicated economically and I decided to leave my career (journalism) and go to Colombia on my own to start working and help my family.

I left my country four years ago and just last month I moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The reason why I decided to move to Argentina was basically the desire to be able to afford a new career; I had only been working for the past years in Colombia and I really hope to be able to study soon.

Nevertheless, not everything was bad in Colombia, in fact, I gained a lot of experience with the different jobs I had.

I started working as a bilingual agent with a multinational company that would take care of the customer service area of multiple american and canadian businesses. In there, I had to attend to all customer's inquiries and doubts, aiming to provide with a quick and efficient resolution to their issues.

I worked in the contact center industry for over three years, and my last experience wasn't as an agent but as a recruitment analyst (Human Resources) for an important company recognized as a global leader, reason why I was very thankful and commited to learn as much as I could out of that opportunity,

Also, simultaneously, I worked as a freelance both teaching english for beginners and translating articles or manuals. This in order to have myself practicing even more and improving my skills.

I never took english classes aside from what's taught in high school. Then, in collage, I took some knowledge tests in order to approve the subject and have that free time for myself and for other subjects.

Yet I'm not an english expert, that's for sure. But I can totally say I'm a very commited person who loves to learn new things and spend time researching on topics of interest.

Although I'm empirical and have not really taken advanced english classes, I'm quite confident I have learnt a lot out of my working experience, plus, those jobs demand you to take advanced english tests, which have also put myself in different challanges to prove my skills in a professional english environments.
