After graduating in English Lit, I worked for several years in the IT industry, and went on to contribute as a columnist to a number of magazines, including the technical writers’ magazine, The Manual and the business magazine, Profile. Currently I work for a geological consultancy as their technical manager.
I have published a number of short stories in the past, and my play, Grief Encounter, was recently short-listed for the BBC/Oran Mor prize. Her play, Losing Faith, was also shortlisted for the BBC Writer’s Room award.
My most recent work was a collaboration on the play, Dying To See You, which was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
