10/2014 – 04/2015: German course. Humboldt Institut (Berlin)
• German course in Berlin Mitte. It was a must to speak in German, that is, it was not allowed to communicate in another language. We had six hour-lectures Monday to Friday and after class we did activities, such as going to museums, cinema, sightseeing.

Freelance subtitler German into Spanish. I translate the original script, which is in German, into Spanish and then I have to make the subtitles. The audiovisual content is often documentaries of all kinds (about drugs, animals, International Institutions, Bundesrepublik).
03/2013 – 09/2014: Pink Noise, Intern + Freelance
Worked as a freelance translator, project manager, helpdesk and trainer in a company specialized in videogames localization. Main functions:
Ø Manage multilingual projects (English, French and German), which included (among others):
Communicating with clients located all over the world, in English, both orally and by
email.
Proofreading Spanish translations from English and, sometimes, from German.
Proofreading audiovisual content in Spanish.
Some of the clients I worked with were: Microsoft, Disney, Nintendo, Sony, Riot,
Blizzard, EA Games.
Performing localization QA tests in Spanish and in English.
Managing translation memories, glossaries (both from the client and those made by me), term bases.
Improving translation project management processes:
o Elaborating on memoQ glossaries based on prohibited terms established by the client, so that translators and revisers do not use them.
o Exporting CAT Tools ( LocStudio from Microsoft and Trados) files to a compatible file in order to work on memoQ and used the already existing term bases and translation memories
Editing often translations based on bug reports from testers (both Latam and Spa Spanish).
Managing projects of at least 30.000 words.
Leading a team of at least five translators and two proof-readers.
12/2012 – 02/2013: One Digital Group, Translator.
