Growing up in Portugal amidst two language teachers, I've soon developed a taste for literature, foreign languages and my own.
I hold a degree in Applied Languages (University of Minho, Braga) and a Certificate of Proficiency in English awarded by Cambridge University. I've studied English for as long as I can remember, Spanish ditto, and Italian for a few years up until moving to Italy for 5 months, as part of the Erasmus exchange programme.
I use specialized CAT tools and translate into Portuguese according to the new set of grammar rules, in effect as of 2013 (see: 'Novo Acordo Ortográfico').
Portuguese literature being my favorite, I never pass on the chance of reading something new, especially if it's not well-known or widely publicised. I'm looking forward to reading your magnum opus and hopefully collaborate in its translation.
