I am a freelance translator and I have a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the Universitat Jaume I in Castellon, Spain, where I studied audiovisual, juridical, scientific-technical and, of course, literary translation.

I would describe myself as a proactive person who is always open-minded to look for any change if it is necessary. But let’s hope it’s not necessary, because I guarantee loyalty to the original text and an absolute naturalness in the translated text.

I’m a big fan of comics, movies and theater (I work as a theater actor, writer and director too), and, as I think that a good literary translator must be also a good writer, I must say that I have won a couple contests of stories and micro stories.

Oh! And I can boast of having translated for The Simpsons and Family Guy. That’s not strictly related to literary translation, but I think it’s cool, though.
