Passionate and curious, empathy-driven. Translation is not a process. Translation is a mission.

I am passionate and curious. Translating gives me a great chance to keep learning, as I always research before getting down to work on that specific translation job.

I have quite some experience (20+ years) and I currently work from home, where I enjoy a fully equipped and perfectly appropriate and quiet location. Working from home enables me to be flexible and meet my Customers' requirements in terms of delivery. I am truly realistic about my working hours and professional in dedicating my time to my job.

Since I spent most of my professional life translating business and technical materials, I am ready to start a new chapter with fiction (would love short-stories) and "how to" books.

I enjoyed a great experience in translating a short story when I graduated and worked on J.W. Irving's "Lost in New York (but found in Vermont, dammit!)", which I discussed in 1988, obtaining the "cum laude", the highest recognition for a discussion paper so I am proud of it.

A part from professional skills, strong ethics is my most important distinctive trait.
