Although I started my professional life as a journalist, I have translated a wide variety of books from English and French into Spanish. A bunch of more than 30 titles where you can find all kind of genres: novel, romance, thriller, biography, non-fiction, young readers...
Thanks to my parents, who gave me a passion for books and languages,
when I lost my job as an editor I could start translating.
For some years I worked as a full- time translator and was quite happy.
Apart from literature, languages, and translation, I am interested in the history of food, mythology, legends, fairy tales and spirituality.
Also, I have been teaching myself to subtitle videos and am currently a volunteer translator at Ted Talks.
This is a great place of encounter for authors and translators. We only have to start talking.
