A book eater

My first passion was horses, but curiously my most remarkable memories are of books and puzzle. Despite the love for horses made me want to become a veterinary, I always had a book, not related to the subject, by my side.

As a child, I've read comics like: Monica's gang, Ducktales and others. And those comics have awakened in me the desire to read more. When I was about nine years old, the first book I've read in my new school's library was The phantom of the opera. There was born then the love for musicals, opera, theater. 

 Later, when I was eleven, I went to a military school for eight years. I pratically ate the library. I've read books like: Wuthering heights, David Copperfield, Dorian Gray. There, I've discovered that there are colleges to learn languages, and decided to try german in one college and veterinary in another. I didn't gave up the idea of becoming a veterinarian, but I also wanted to learn as many languages as I could.

In 2006 I went to college to learn german. I intended to become a legal translator or a linguist, since there I also learnt latin, a bit of italian and greek. Nowadays, since I haven't practice the languages, I don't remember much. At the same year, I discovered the love for the violoncello and learnt to play. And so, I've learned the language of the music and discover the biography books of the composers and music textbooks.

My favorite author is Jane Austen. I don't remember when it began, but someday I've read Pride and Prejudice and fell in love with Jane Austen's books. Every time I go back to my parent's home, I bring one or two books of her. My second favorite is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, I have the entire collection of Sherlock Holmes.

One of my dreams is to have my own particular library. Fiction, romance, thriller, fantasy, history and many others types of books. I must have about 130 books in my collection. 

Once a book lover, always a book lover.
