I am a journalist with 20 years' international experience both for newspapers, magazines and in the corporate world (internal and external communications), ghostwriter and literary translator. After more than 10 years of working in Sweden, China, and Austria, I have now settled in the UK.
German is my mother tongue, and I am fluent in English (IELTS 8.5). I'm passionate about connecting readers with stories, no matter the language. Over the years, I've dedicated myself to translating English books for German readers. Since Crime/Mystery is the genre I am most passionate about as a reader, that's also the genre I am focusing on in translations. Due to my journalist background, I do throw in the occasional non-fiction translation for good measure.

Being an author myself, I truly understand the heart and soul that goes into every piece of writing. With every project, I strive to maintain the essence and nuance of the original work, ensuring it resonates with the German audience just as powerfully.
