Translator from French and German into English. I have a passion for literature and have graduated with a Masters Degree in contemporary French and German literature from the University of Oxford.

I studied at the University of Oxford for both my undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Modern Languages. I specialised in contemporary German literature but also have a passion for contemporary French literature. I am now starting work as a freelance translator and woud love to bring my skills to translating your book. I have been a part of various literary translation projects (The Queen's College Translation Exchange) as part of my degree and bring with me an eye for nuance, an appreciation of the sound of different languages and an attention to detail which allows me to produce translations that sounds as fluent and idiomatic as possible in the target language. 

I have experience of living in both France and Germany and am entirely fluent in my source languages. I have always been talented at writing in English and would be happy to bring these skills to your project to produce a translation that you are happy with. After completing my Masters degree this month I am also taking various translation courses to ensure a professional growth in my chosen field.
