English to Italian translator.

Hello.

I am an Italian native speaker and a freelance English to Italian translator. I have an in-depth knowledge of the English language: I possess a Cambridge English Advanced ‘grade A’ (C2 – Mastery, in the Common European Framework) certificate and I have been tutoring English, mostly to students. I am currently studying for the IoL Diploma in Translation.

Being a novelist, my Italian is much more comprehensive and extensive than that of the average native speaker. I am an expert on narrative techniques, including narrative theory; I am used to writing essays and researching legal, historical, technical, scientific contents or terminology.
I can use SDL Trados Studio proficiently and I am accustomed to proofreading as well.

Most importantly, I am willing to work hard and to make any endeavour to improve and deliver prompt and accurate translations. I am open to test jobs or sample translations, in order to prove my skills.
