I translate from EN (UK/US) and JA into IT and the subject matters I am specialised in are tech, engineering, informatics, science and tourism. I offer Italian proofreading services as well. As a freelance translator, I have been working for more than 5 years on a variety of projects both for agencies and for end clients. In addition, I took part in an internship at a translation agency in Northern Ireland (UK) as part of my Erasmus+ Traineeship programme for six months. During that time, I received extensive training in using CAT tools, such as SDL Trados and Wordfast, while working as an in-house translator. Furthermore, I double-checked the translated documents in order to guarantee that the translation was consistent and appropriately formatted before the final delivery. I apply the knowledge gained from my past jobs and from the cultural exchange projects of my university years to translations.
