Translator and book lover. I speak English, Spanish and German and I'm mothertongue Italian. I am a Cognitive Psychologist.

I've always had a thing for languages and I decided to specialize in foreign languages and literature in my high school years. I've therefore studied language, literature and culture in English, Spanish and German. I've also some minor knowledge of French.

In my years at university I had worked as subtitler for tv series and as translator and proofreader for scientific articles. I also like to read and in the last years I've only been reading in English even if my native language is Italian. Sometimes I also read both versions, to compare how they are written. What I like most of the translations is to be able to convey meanings, images and atmospheres in different languages and, therefore, for different people with diverse backgrounds and habits. 

I am a Cognitive Psychologist, working in the field of Health Communication and Scientific Divulgration.
