George Wier is the author of over 30 books, omnibuses, and anthologies, including the popular Bill Travis Mystery series, including the international bestseller The Last Call. Thus far, he has released 15 books in that series. The series thus far includes: The Last Call, Capitol Offense, Longnecks and Twisted Hearts, The Devil to Pay, Death On the Pedernales, Slow Falling, Caddo Cold, Arrowmoon, After the Fire, Ghost of the Karankawa, Desperate Crimes, Mexico Fever, The Lone Star Express, Trinity Trio, and Buffalo Bayou Blues. He has collaborated with numerous authors, including Milton T. Burton (Long Fall From Heaven, Cinco Puntos Press, 2013), Robert A. Taylor (The Vindicators: Book One--Last Defense---2014), Billy Kring (1889: Journey to the Moon---2014 and 1899: Journey to Mars---2015), and T.R. Harris (Captains Malicious, 2015). Recent publications include the Elysium mystery series, beginning with Kindle Book Awards finalist Murder In Elysium, and its prequel, Sentinel In Elysium, as well as his new Neptune series, beginning with Neptune's Forge. He has released two short stories anthologies, '14: A Texanthology, and Unto The Night. He lives and writes in Austin, Texas, with his lovely wife, Sallie.
