If you are visiting my profile is because you are searching for the perfect person to translate something you need. I'm glad to tell you that you just found that person. For the next paragraphs I'll explain why I'm that person.
I have been studying english for 7+ years. I have a certificate in Business and Administration and I'm currently working on a Computer Science Major. Besides that, I was born in Brazil and lived here my whole life, which not only grants me a nearly perfect grammar, but also a native level understanding about the portuguese language nuances, such as it's day-to-day colloquialisms and regional dialects.
I have been professionally translating texts and subtitling videos from English to Portuguese for 2 years. I have professional experience in translating general Youtube videos, technical texts (resumes, instruction manuals) and literary texts (authoral texts, small eBooks, movie reviews, book reviews and game reviews). I also have nonprofessional experience in translating medium lenght documentaries, mobile videogames, poems and music lyrics.
I have experience in working with some CAT tools, such as Wordfast, MemoQ, Smartcat, and TradosSDL. I'm also willing to use any other text editing software and will not hesitate to learn how to use a software you have developed by your own to use in your project.
I'm a very serious professional who aims to accomplishing milestones before the deadline and hear and apply the client's feedback to my work. It's also important to say that unlike most of translators, I don't use my native language only as a target. I also do Portuguese to English translations, as well.
