Dear all,
I have a degree in computer science and work as software architect / developer in and around SAP. I lived and worked in the USA for an extended period and learned my English there under real life conditions. Which included to grasp the cultural and linguistic difference between English and German which I find to be quite siginificant. Ever since I came back to Germany I am often annoyed about poor translations into German, both in books and especially in movies. So, I'm keen to show that I can do better. So far I only translated a couple of software manuals or parts of them and also a few wikipedia articles, but maybe someone will give me a chance.
My areas of expertise include (besides IT and programming of course) technology in general, music, sports, politics, aviation and various business aspects such as accounting, controlling, strategy, etc.
I'm also interested in a lot of other things, so please don't hesitate to ask. If I think that a certain topics isn't for me, I will tell you right away, as I have no interest at all to struggle around with something I don't understand.
