Hi! I am Florence and I interpret therapy sessions, medical appointments and social service meetings for a living. I have also taken part in many paid translating projects over the years, for social media, sports, medical research, music and more.
I have lived in London for 12 years but was raised in France and Argentina, by an Argentine mother and a French father. I also lived in Brazil for 2 years so I can translate from Portuguese as well. Last year as a personal project for my father, I translated his great uncle's memoir from English (and a few lines in Dutch!) to Argentine Spanish, adapting idioms and expressions and even proofreading the original in English (his great uncle was Dutch). The project is now on standby as I am waiting for my father to give me his notes before we publish it or turn it into a movie script. In the meantime, I am looking forward to working with other non-fiction authors!
