I have been working as a freelance translator (Eng.-Turkish/Turkish-Eng.) following my graduation from American Culture and Literature in 2000. I have so far worked on movie and documentary translations for TRT (Turkish Radio and Television), translations of essays and reports as well as several literature work. Although I have concentrated mainly on my performance career during my residency in UK, I have re-started translating with the translation of I Ching following my return to Turkey in 2008. Since 2010 I have been certified translator of the area I am currently residing as well as translating literature works for different publishing houses including theater pieces. I am also the approved linguist for Turkish Translators Group. I have been the resident tranlator for Artful Living website (www.artfulliving.com.tr), which focuses on the art and photography, since November.
Due to my BA degrees and experience following, I am specialized in a wide range of subjects. The subjects that I am most experienced in can be viewed in my profile. I am very sensitive about deadlines and details. I ensure that the work is high quality.
