Federica Galetto (alias Federica Nightingale) was born in Turin (Italy) in 1964. She is a writer, poet, translator and collagiste. In 1993 she had her first short-story “La stanza di Giulia” collected in an anthology and published by Mondadori. Fond of English and American Literature, she writes mainly poetry, fiction and narrative poetry. Her poems and short-stories have been published in many anthologies in Italy and abroad, literary sites and blogs. She’s editor of three literary blogs:

In July 2010 she published her first book of poems: “Scorrono le cose controvento”, Lietocolle Editore and in 2011 her book of poems in English: “Ode from a nightingale”, Masque Publishing, "Stanze del nord"- Onirica 2012, "Traducendo Einsamkeit"- Terra d'ulivi 2014. She collaborates with reviews and publishers and many of her translations can be found on the web.
