Fausto Adames Ruiz (Fausto Adams) is a Dominican writer, journalist, translator and editor. After studying Journalism and Cinematographic Arts at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), he lived in New York for a while, where began his journalist career collaborating for The Diario/La Prensa. Then back to his native Dominican Republic, worked for the morning papers El Caribe and Hoy. Also served as Information Advisor of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Dominican Government, and Caribbean Porter Novelli, and was the Financial Editor of the Revista Mercado. Now he is the Local Editor of BávaroNews newspaaper. 'His recent book El rey de la cocaína is currently in Kindle. He also published the historical essay Rediscovering the Dominican Republic, which hopes to arrange for the Kindle as soon as possible. He recently published 12.21.2012: El apocalipsis descifrado for Kindle and prepared its translation to English.
