Eva Pohler is the author of The Gatekeeper's Saga, The Purgatorium Series, and The Mystery Box Collection. The Gatekeeper's Saga is a young adult series comprised of six books that follow the adventures of Therese Mills, whose life becomes more and more entangled with the gods of Mount Olympus when one of them falls in love with her.
Also for young adults, The Purgatorium Series is a psychological thriller that takes place on an island off the coast of California where Dr. Hortense Gray and her staff use experimental therapy to help depressed and suicidal patients overcome their issues by terrifying them into fighting for their lives. Seventeen-year-old Daphne Janus is their newest patient.
The Mystery Book Collection consists of The Mystery Box and The Mystery Tomb. The first tells of a woman who is drawn into the haunting tale of her eccentric neighbor and discovers a shocking connection to the story. The second also depicts a connection between two women--one dead and the other a budding archaeologist--who share a surprising family secret.
Eva Pohler writes fiction and teaches writing and literature at a university in San Antonio, where she lives with her husband and three children.
