I am currently enrolled in SSIT (School for Interpreters and Translators in Pescara, Italy) and I am about to complete an M.A. in Specialized Translation mainly in the Web, Tourism, and Technical sectors, but I love translating in a wide range of fields. At present, I am looking for new projects to embark on as a translator (English >Italian).
I am an extremely versatile person who has gained experience in different fields and countries but always with a common thread running through the professional roles I have held, namely my passion for foreign languages and cultures. I hold a B.A. in Foreign Languages, an M.A. in Language Teaching (with a specialization in teaching Italian abroad), and a Diploma in Human Resources Management awarded by the Institute of Commercial Management, based in the UK.
Over the years, I have honed my skills working in multinational corporations, HR agencies, travel agencies, and language schools, both in Italy and Ireland. I taught Italian and English at different levels to young learners, adults, and executives.
I also worked as a recruiter in Italy for a couple of years, following all aspects of the selection process both in Italian and in English. I also took part in several projects organizing, editing course contents, and co-teaching.
I would welcome the chance to offer my varied experience for a job that gives me satisfaction. At the moment, my aim is to have a concrete opportunity to deepen my professional experience in a field that I truly enjoy a lot and am passionate about.
