I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I'm a Portuguese-English translator and interpreter student and about to graduate. I'm in love with the field as much as I love books. The English language has been present in my life since childhood when books lasted 5 months to translate into Portuguese and my childhood anxiety led me to learn English to read the stories as soon as possible. While establishing a career in tourism, working in the hotel industry as a bilingual receptionist and daily contact with native English speakers made me dive deeper into the language. However, the passion for books has always been a constant and I take the step to become a translator. Since I started my graduation I dedicate myself to translating texts and stories, improving the art. It was through this research and work routine that I met Babelcube and I got excited about the idea. I'm an avid fantasy and YA reader and I have a lot of affinity with these styles, but I get excited about every good story that makes readers feel alive. As a translator, these are the stories that I want to bring to the Brazilian public and what make me in love with this profession and constantly increase myself.
