Hello, my name is Dilvo, and I am from Brazil. I am a native Portuguese speaker with extensive international experience. My passion for books and my knowledge of the English language led me to become a book translator.

Dilvo júnior

My passion for books began when I was around 18 years old—perhaps a bit late, but it came nonetheless. I realized that the type of books I enjoyed reading mattered most. To reveal a bit about myself, I'm drawn to books focused on human development, such as philosophy, psychology, business, and more. Nowadays, I can't go without reading and manage to read about one book per week in these areas I mentioned.

At 22, I decided to leave my homeland to travel abroad. I lived for 7 years in various countries including Italy, Australia, England, and even Southeast Asia. I visited over 30 countries, gathering many stories along the way. This journey provided me with extensive international experience and fluency in a second language.

Today, I am an entrepreneur, developer, and starting out in translation. My current focus is on pursuing meaningful endeavors. This led me to the idea of contributing to the translation universe due to my passion for reading and my proficiency in English. Through this, I can translate and bring knowledge into my native language, contributing to the growth of knowledge in my country. It makes perfect sense to me to dedicate my most precious asset—time—to something so significant.
