Spanish > English translator looking to help authors bring their work to English-speaking markets.

My native language is Canadian English, but I also have deep knowledge of US and Indian English as well as familiarity with major regional variants of UK English. I hold a degree in Spanish to English translation from the University of Ottawa, Canada. For the last 20 years, I have been working in localization for media and entertainment, creating workflows and guidelines to help translators bring stories to internaitonal markets and accurately representing the creative intent of the original version. 

My areas of expertise and interest  in terms of subject matter are history, fine arts, crime, fashion, beauty, film and TV, social movements, indigenous issues, ecology and health. I'm curious by nature and enjoy researching any topic.
