Mexican musician graduated from the National Institute of Fine Arts in the musical composition area, he also studied music at the National Autonomous University of Mexico where he is currently pursuing a second bachelor degree: Spanish Language and Literature, in which he specializes in linguistics. His musical work has taking him to get to know different countries and nowadays he develops his Red Page project, which invites singers from around the globe to record their rock genre compositions. This has led him to be immersed in the world of audio engineering as well, since he likes to produce his recorded works himself.
He has lived surrounded with cats since he was little, due to the fact that his parents have always had furry tenants rescued from the Mexico City streets, and now he continues that tradition. A friend of all animals and especially obsessed with Norwegian culture, he has lived in Oslo, Norway for intermittent periods, lerning the language.
He also studied Swedish for a couple of years at the UNAM as well, in preparation for his Scandinavian adventures, now he lives in a small and peaceful town in Hidalgo´s state up north from Mexico City. His love for books were on display with the election of his second career, which has permitted him to reunite an extensive library filled up with hispanic classics such as The Quijote by Cervantes Saavedra, which happens to be one of his favourites!
It was in 2013 when Daniel got to work as a translator with an author, the norwegian Julie Loen requested him to provide some mexican slang to her western novel "Embers at dawn", experience that extended to the sequel as well, and from which Daniel have the greatest memories.
As for today, he is focused on the recordings for the debut album for his projects Malidan (Spanish) and Red Page (English), and on his freelance work as an internet Customer Service Agent & translator, keep him in mind to translate from English, Norwegian or Swedish to Spanish.
