I am a PhD student in Archaeology of the Ancient Near East at the University of Vienna with a passion for creative writing (I am finalizing my own first novel) and I am now approaching the world of literary translation.
I graduated with my BA in Classics with honors at the University of Catania (Italy) and after then I pursued my studies in the field of the archaeology of the ancient Near East with my MA and with my PhD. My studies at the universities of Catania and Vienna, apart from the theoretical preparation, gave me the opportunity to join as scientific staff international archaeological projects in Italy, Austria, Israel and Turkey, to attend international conferences and to practice both Italian and English at academic level. Besides that, I have always continued to cultivate my passion for writing by producing blogs, papers and short novels.
My strengths are grammar and formal accuracy, self-motivation, creativity, time management, competence and quality.
