Living abroad since the age of 18 (mostly in the UK and China) I always try to follow my grandpa's motto "don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today". It's a popular folk saying from my region, it sounds a lot better in Italian: "chi ha tempo non aspetti tempo".
Throughout my university studies, I worked part-time in different roles: hospitality, teaching, freelance translation and writing.
Learning Mandarin is still an on-going challenge that I can only justify with a strong interest for sounds, words, and people.
Some of the things that I expect from me at work: learning, questioning and being questioned, working with products that I truly like, not letting people down.
