I am an Argentinian man with self-taught knowledge in translation from English to Spanish and vice-versa. I am currently studying for an Arts major in La Plata National University, for wich I need a certain economic stability that eludes me at the moment. I am willing to work on any translation project available, and I will offer quick work and adaptability, as well as a professional attitude. I have been reading and translating for my own personal purposes since I was twelve, and in that time I have obtained a sound grasp on English vocabulary and grammar, both referring to formal and informal contexts. This has also improved my knowledge on Spanish grammar and vocabulary, and at the time I am proficient in the correlations, as well as the differences, that exist between both languages.
This experience related to linguistics is enriched with ample knowledge in general culture; academic and literary texts, and philosophy. I have developed a sistematic approach to various fields of academic knowledge and literary genres and subgenres, so that if I find myself lacking in a new field o genre, I can begin a quick and effective process of interiorization that improves my personal translating and linguistic experience and results in a profound research, functional to the project at hand.
I believe that this skills and mindset are a perfect starting point to any translation proyect that comes my way, and I am eager to get started.
