My name is Camila Moreira, and I crossed paths with translation when I first decided to change majors from Biology to Translation Studies. I always had a passion to learn foreign languages and started experiencing the literary world from an early age. This sudden change allowed me to experience this passion and to pursue other languages and literature, which resulted in an exchange program to South Korea, to learn Korean and to experience that country's unique culture. I had the opportunity to get used with literature from both the Western and Eastern literature, both so different that allowed me to built a broad view of the use of language and cultural aspects around the world.
Also, I had the opportunity to work with journalistic texts during the World Cup in Brazil, 2014 and I am currently working as a literary translator and a freelance translator of journalistic text for the KoreaPost, an enterprise focused on news from South Korea, and as a copywriter in Brazil for the Canva platform.
