Hello! My name is Bruna and I'm from South Brazil. I am an English - Portuguese (BR) translator. I’ve been studying English for nearly 25 years, with 13+ years of experience in English teaching and 5+ years of English Translation. I also have a strong background in English for Business, since I’ve worked for 10 years at a multinational industry, always in international roles (International Buyer, International Replenishment Planner and Product Manager).
I use my vast experience with the English language to help customers in their necessities of accurate, professional and responsible translations. I am not yet specialized in a specific field, so I specify my skills as General Translation, being familiar and comfortable with areas such as Management (documents, company policies, codes of conduct), Marketing, Finance, Social Media, History, Religion, App Translation, Movies, Music, Arts. Nevertheless, I like to challenge myself by working in new fields, since I consider this an important step to my professional growth.
I’m currently taking a graduate course in English Translation. I also hold an MBA degree in International Business. As for CAT Tools, I work mainly with MemoQ and Trados, but I can adapt to other tools according to the client’s necessities. I am a very compromised and focused professional. I believe that a good communication is the key for a great relationship between the freelancer and the customer.
