I'm Brian, a Canadian who is fluent in Italian and have an advanced level in French.

From 2011-2013 I lived in Italian cities including Rome, Messina, and Taranto. I became fluent in Italian by taking intensive language courses before going and then living among the Italians for two years.
After returning home I studied Italian at University for a year then took up studying the French language. I have lived in Quebec City and studied French at their language school at Laval University. I am currently finishing a Bachelor of Arts Degree specializing in French.

Languages are fascinating to me. I love how each language has their own personality.

I have translated in "unofficial" positions in multiple situations. This includes translating live speakers, documents, and conversations. 

I taught English courses while living in Italy and have taught French to English speakers in Canada.
