I started self-publishing novels this year and have three up on Amazon so far. I write in a new, growing genre called LitRPG. These books are a science fiction / fantasy blend where characters spend most of their time in a virtual reality or video game world. The genre attracts new, loyal readers each day. There is a robust community of readers and authors on Facebook. We all agree that with the commercial success of the novel Ready Player One, and the upcoming move, the genre will continue to explode.
