My name is Billy Conn. I was born and educated in Ireland but, upon training as a psychologist, moved to England to practice. During my professional career I specialised in dealing with cases of child abuse and neglect and spent many years providing expert evidence at all levels of the British Court system for the protection of the children.
When I retired I followed up on a life time interest in literature to fulfil an ambition to write. I have since produced a crime trilogy under the umbrella title of 'Sleepers of the Cave' on the subject of the organized abuse of children. I then changed tact and wrote a more literary novel entitled 'The Garden of Lost Remembering' which is part mystery and part meditation on the nature of consciousness and ageing. I then wrote another thriller under a pseudonym. I have just finished a sixth novel this time on the subject of slavery.
I continue to live in the south of England but spend time in both Ireland and France.
