Hello,

My name is Benoit Mathelin, I’m a 33 years old french native translator, working as a full time translator since 2015. I’m based in France in south Burgundy. 

I translate solely from English to French (my mother tongue) because I want to provide thorough and outstanding translations to my clients. 

I worked 10 years in hotels, first as a front desk manager in a 3 stars hotel in Dijon and then in some of the most renowned ski resorts in the French Alps such as Megève and Courchevel.

My fields of expertise are tourism, hotels and catering, travel and outdoor activities. I also focus on ecology and sustainable development.

Trekking enthusiast, curious about foreign cultures, I had the chance to travel abroad for long periods of time. I lived in Japan, in China during 1 year where I studied mandarin Chinese in Xiamen University.

I'm a passionate sci fi and whodunit reader.
