Barry L. Becker retired in 2013 after spending twenty-two years as a sole proprietor for his independent manufacturers' representative company, covering the Pacific Northwest. During this time (1992-2013), he also provided marketing consultancy services to the Biometrics technology industry. He served as the vice president of international sales and marketing from 1984-1991 for Eyedentify. The Beaverton, Oregon-based company specialized in eye retinal technology for positive identification within sensitive and classified facilities. Their customers included intelligence agencies, ministries of defense and interior, defense and aerospace contractors, nuclear power plants, major banks, and financial institutions.
In 1987, his article entitled "Eyedentify counters security threat" appeared in the Journal of Defense & Diplomacy, Volume 5, Number 8.

Barry Becker earned a bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University in Creative Arts Interdisciplinary and a minor in Marketing. He has completed Executive programs at the Columbia Graduate School of Business and Stanford Business School.
